Kereta oh Kereta

The Mercedes need its rounding service. This time I am going to another workshop, my dad use to go to this place when it was in Cheras, but now they moved to Kajang. They are specialist at European cars.

Using mineral oil now instead of the semi synthetic. From my point of view, older cars such as mine better suited with mineral oil. Its thicker so it can protected the worn out and loose part better than the semi. Beside instead of 7000km interval of the semi synthetic, I think the 5000km interval is better, so that the car can be checked more often.

I saw this lime green Volkswagen beetle at the workshop.

It has nice chrome rims and tyres combination.

My Vivi was injured today :(

One of the lamps was scratched.

Parts of the front bumper was also deeply scratched.

The room came down after the worker my mother hired to paint our roof, came crashing down with the roof. Pieced of the debris hit my car.

This the part of the roof that cam crashing down. I am not sure who to be pissed off at today. Is it the workers fault for stepping on the weakest part of the roof? My mother's fault for not telling me people were painting the roof this weekend? My fault for not waking up earlier? The contractors fault for using cheap ass wood to hold the roof? I was pissed off more when I told my mom I kept my cool when they crashed on my car and she told me its just physical objects. That guy also crashed down. Gee mother, what if the new 3 time more expensive Accord got hit, or your new leather pursed is destroyed, will you say the same thing..

Monday to Wendnesday

Vivi needs its second service.

Regrets sending it today, waited 4 hours to get it serviced.

Thank God for free Wifi.

As like any people who lost weight during fasting, you gain it all back the first week of Raya.

Hit the gym again.. need to burn 700 kcalories a day and weight train 3 times a week.

Afraid exercise will cause food binging, but need protein to repair the sore (still sore) muscles. Beef burger on chapati, YUM!!

Josh invited to join him and Danial Ma at Metropoint Starbucks. First time meeting Danial in person. A jovial guy and friendly guy to meet :D. First time reading Wahaza blog. Thank you to Josh for the Raspberry Blackcurrant Frapachino :D

Dania's Ibook and Iphone 3g

Iphone 3g, so cool, so light, and who is that making a face in that phone ;)

Later that night, went to Old Town Kopitiam at Sg Chua. Met Abg Bear and Shah after a few months of not meeting with them. Met Wahaza for the first time. Cool guy, lots of knowledge in IT and Iphones.

Stories of Iphones, blogs, handphones and gossip were thrown around the table. Many thanks to Abg Bear and Shah for the chicken Por Fun and Ice lemon tea. It was short, nice and pleasurable.

Vivi's New Clothes

Even on Raya, my Vivi has gotten new clothes. Here is the hood insulator to protect the bonnet from heat and suppresses the engine noise a bit. My mother said when my Viva is revving it sounded like a lorry.

Here they are installing the leather seat cover.

The finished product, leather seats that wont trapped dust and easy to wipe off and clean.

This arm rest is nice, although it covered the rear cupholders :(. Nevermind this is the theme of my car from now on. Red, black and grey.

A New "Baby"

Yup a new baby had arrived at our home 2 days ago. It was my dad's reward for working so hard overseas for a few years already. A new car was something he wanted for a long time.

What better car for him, then a brand new Honda Accord.

This is an executive car. In America, its considered as a large car. For Americans, who we know likes everything super sized and pick up's are still the best selling vehicles there, when they say the Honda Accord is a large car, it is really a large car. It has the same length and width of a Naza Ria, our family MPV. So you can imagine how big this car really is.

My dad, opted for the mid range version of the Accord. The 2.4 liter i-VTEC. The Accord comes in 2.0 and 2.4, in line 4 cylinder engine, while the mammoth 3.5 is a V6 engine. Basically i-VTEC is a mechanism that allows the engine to work efficiently at any speed. It can be really fuel efficient when cruising or when travelling at lower speeds or give that extra boost of power when you stepped on the accelerator pedal. He is loving this car because its pack full with gadgets such as paddle shifts like those on the F1 cars, in dash 6 dish changer, electronic stability control, and auto cruise to name a few. He has been driving this car everywhere since he will have to go back to overseas for his work. I teased him a lot that for the first 1000km, my Viva can go a lot faster than his Accord, because my engine has been run in already. It ticked him off that I said while I can go 140km in my car and out run him when we go back to kampung. He snapped back and said small cars should not travel fast, or it will fly off the highway when a lorry passes you by. Gee, he must be really pissed, I mean a lorry that chases my car at 140km, I think his Accord will also fly off too. Well its my fault for testing his ego.. Muehehehehe... Who cares I will be driving the Accord, once a week after he fly off. Cars need to travel longer than the a trip to the kedai runcit or problems will occur (at least that is what I heard, who cares, that is a reason to drive his car :D). Well we will take two cars instead of one MPV to kampung this year. My dad wants to show off his new cars, and my relatives want to see my Viva.

Makan-makan with friends :)

This another pending post that I finally get to upload :D. All my makan2 session that happened last week :)

My good friend Amad has decided to open up a burger/roti john stall at Puchong Perdana, not far from his house. I came here after gym just to chat with him, "kacau2" his nephews who is working at his stall and to have my roti john with no mayo or beef burger with out mayo.

Amad let me on a little secret. The spices for roti john actually comes in a freeze dried powder form. So you just need eggs, and cooked meat to make the batter. Hmm this sounds great so that I could make it at home :).

On Saturday when I got Vivi tinted, I dragged Amad out to meet me at 101 mall for lunch. We had lunch at Kenny Rogers. I was intrigue with the Go Green Menu which basically adds a Cesar Salad or Garden Salad to its 1/4 roasted chicken plus one side lines with a muffin. I love Cesar salad because of the Romaine Lettuce and the croutons.

I think I better reduce my Oil Of Olay Total White usage. That stuff really does brightens up your dull dark skin.

Amad had a friend tagged along with us that day. D is blog shy so I had to delete his face. D is a nice guy, a bit shy at first but he is a good guy to hang out with.

During our Kenny Roger lunch, I said to Amad, why not we bring D to William. I been wanting to eat at William since Inah, Ziana, Abg BM and Dr Shah kept having dinner there :p. Besides I want to bring D to the William side. Muahahahah step into the William side my friends and you will never go back :D. Again our blog shy D, with his face deleted :D

Amad had a fever that night, but he insisted on going also to William. Both D and Amad were patient enough to wait for me at 11.30 to pick them up and drive them to Kelana Jaya, which is the location of William :D

Amad had the Chicken Chop Friend Rice, with black pepper sauce. YUM!!! very nice, I really liked this dish :).

D had the staple menu of any chicken lover, the chicken premium :)

I had the beef lasagna. The interesting is this is not lasagna with beef but instead its baked beef with lasagna because there is so much beef in it :)

Hey Dr Chen, you are not the only one with the orgasmic face when enjoying good food. Oooh baby, the generous mozzarella cheese and the juicy meatball beats any hotel lasagna. Oh yeah, my tongue had an orgasm from eating this and my body felt tingling all over :D

Amad and D has the privilege of being my first non family, non UPM friends to ride in my Viva. Anyone wants a ride in the "best for value", "fuel efficient" Viva ;). I love the comments people give when they ride in my Vivi. "WOW", "Hey its very spacious lah in here" "It feels like a Myvi, but narrower". He he, small on the outside, big on the inside :).

Chronicles of Budlee

There so many things on my phone camera that I did not get to post because I was tired, I was busy or I was not in the mood to blog. This is a long post, but there is lots of pictures :). Hopefully everyone can read it yah :D

I decided to open up a Maybank account and get that Debit Mastercard they are offering now. I need the card to make online purchases and I need the Maybank account so I can have another savings account to manage my spending.

Too bad the chip on my IC was unreadable, so I was forced to make a new IC. I still haven't got the will to go to have it done because I was busy finishing up the Touch n Go prepaid in my IC.

This me posing in front of my advisor's poster that I made for him. Its so loaded with information and quite plain since its mostly black and white. However he likes it very much and he even got a medal for this project. Students do whatever that will make their advisor happy ;)

I was so eager to sign everything needed to get my car. Too bad I did not inspect the car fully. The under seat tray under the front passenger seat was stuck. I think I will get it checked at its first service. Its been a week only but I clocked 700 km on the car. So far I only filled RM115 for the car. Very fuel saving indeed

My friend changed his painting technique for his ovitrap from painting it with brush to spraying it. Spraying it was more troublesome due to the fume lingering to his nose long after he finished spraying even though he wore a mask.

My Baby had problems....again... Its an old car, it is expected but it just raises my stress level getting it fixed because spare parts are costly and a bit tricky to find. My new mechanic was doing something quite peculiar which is using a hollow metal tube to amplify the source of the sound while allowing him to properly listen which part might the source of the abnormal squeaky noise.

My previous short post hints that I am going to the gym, and I am. Its just one the many reasons why I was not able to blog that often. I was hitting the gym every night from Monday to Friday. One of the reason for me to go to the gym was to make me less tense (according to Dr Chen, I am tensed, not depressed) All that yoga, aerobic boxing, aerobic dancing and just plain old cross training machine really loosen me up. I do it because of that euphoric feeling after exercising and it helps me to remove that negative energy inside of me. I am going to do a complete blog about my gym later.

Vivi getting his first car wash. AAAWWWWW!!!! his first bubble bath :)

I also gotten Vivi mirrors tinted, so that his interior will be protected from excess heat and UV radiation.

Since Vivi is a black car, tint is a must to keep him cool :)
