Absolutely Positively Takde Keje Lain

This post is so vain, if you could raised one eye brow, you would too. I just gotten a haircut, and its always a bit different everytime I get it but its always being done according to my taste. Something simple as keeping the side and back very short and cutting the crown with a layering scissors, make simple "crew cut", just a bit different. Heck, I am all about crew cuts, is the only hair style I like to have and maintain. My sideburn is back, after it was accidentally shaven off, due to my mistake of being trimmer happy (always used the guard with the trimmer ALWAYS). A sideburn is very important, it frames the face nicely, and keeps its from going roundish, if you are chubby like me with a chubby face. Another that suddenly appear is the black patch on my right cheek, the side burn seem to hide it or camoflauge it. Weird... Another nice thing, my contact lenses did not cause my eyes to be red at the end of the day. This problem is further augmentated that I have coloured lenses. I just can't stop liking my Geo lenses Magic Color 3 tone lenses. It looks grey, green and brown at certain times of day, almost like how a friend of a friend who has naturally hazel eye, and he is 100% Malay. WICKED!!! How about blemish free skin, and shine free skin. Perhaps is the mild weather today and that I washed my face with water a few hours ago, and that I finally found a sunblock that is not greasy. Sadly, the sunblock is no longer sold in Malaysia, or at least at every god damn pharmacy I went in. Too bad I got a facial hair above my lips that looks like adolescent boy or girl, which has to be shaven off because its looks damn ridiculous. I don't it grew anymore than it did when I was 12. Eh.. can't have everything right..

*although everything seem to fall apart, other things seem to come together....

In da phone..

These are snapshots I took with my phone. Somehow I am worried if I take the memory card out so much that it would spoiled it. I mean the one came with the phone already gone bust so I had to get a new one. Not bad, Rm 23 for a 2gb micro SD.

I got a haircut at this new place at The Mines. They provided student rates there if you show them your student ID or matrix card. Rm 15 for cut and wash. Not bad lah. I seem to get a different short hair everytime I get a haircut :p.
I went to The Curve with a friend for the first time. He hails from a far away place called Johor and he said he never been to the Damansara area. Its my first time to be at The Curve, I always just go direct to IKEA :D (my favourite store). There is this one RM 5 shop which sells Japanese stuff (but most are made in China and Indonesia.. go figure..). They sell lots of quirky and usefull Japanese stuff, but seriously this toy has to be ridiculous or very kinky. Its a blow up baloon to be placed on your chest. You give it a squeeze and it will inflate to give you a fuller bust. I get it if its for a girl, but the illustration on the box shows a guy who is bored so he place these baloon in his shirt and gave it a squeeze so he could have fun.....!!!! :-o

Hmm I got my sisters this Twilight book. Strangely there were plenty of it on the display. Last time people were scowering for the books. I guess the craziness has worn off (or the people who wanted the book has the book already)

What is this? I went to a friend's house and he got the same thing stuck on his gate...

Love these cheesecup cakes at The Loaf in Pavillion

Went to Sg Gabai with a couple of friends. Nice place. I did not bathe there but I just sat on the rock like a lizard. It was so nice and cool. You can just sleep here.

The only pussy I see up close and personal. Just a friendly cat when I helped my friends during his rounds of collecting his ovitrap.

Cool hair dudes, what wax did you use? These cool looking guinea pigs with funky hair are of the many animals in the brand new pet shop in The Mines Shopping centre.

Hmm a pet lizard. Something interesting but not cuddly to pet.

Can anyone tell me what car this is?

Believe it or not, this is a Porche. It looks weird right, this is because it is one of the rare model with the engines in front. This is a Porsche 944, a 1980 model. I seen a couple of these models on the road. A unique Porsche since traditionally they are rear engine rear wheel cars.

Hancock, The Real Superhero?

Before the movie review, let me be my narcissistic self first :D
I got a haircut. I just cut it short on the side and back and have them thinned my hair at the top. Now I got two tone effect with my dark roots showing :D. A new style effortlessly
This has to be the most unique Kancil I have ever seen. The sport rims is one of the highlights, it covered almost the whole tires.
I went to Alamanda today with a new friend/blogger that I gotten to know of recently. Amad had a couple of rough months before which includes, family, financial and relationship problems, which made my problems seemed pale to his. I mean its better for us to talk about our problems that just letting it boil inside and kill us slowly. We had dinner at Pizza Hut to try out their new Pizza Hotdog. I quite like it the combination of a pizza, hot dogs and two type of topping. I am not fond of the relish they put on it but the mayonnaise and ketchup/chili sauce was excellent.

Ok, Amad and I went to see the premier of Hancock today at GSC Alamanda. Thank god I managed to get us tickets using the phone line so I don't' have to line up to get them. Anyways this was a story of your not so typical superhero. His name is Hancock. He can fly, he has super speed, he is virtually indestructible, immortality, and he has super strength. Hancock is also a drunk, has issues with anger plus he has no respect towards others. He was not very popular with the locals. This all changed when the PR whose life Hancock saved, tried to change Hancock life around so that he would be accepted into society. I would tell more but it would spoil the story. Well I don't read comics that much so I would say Hancock is a original story but I could be wrong. I mean Will Smith portraying as a person who is lonely, angry and misunderstood is phenomenal. You can see it in his face and body gesture. I mean you can see his emotionless face but gaze deeper into his eyes and you would feel his loneliness and how hurt deep inside he is. There was many parts of the movie that was funny, I was laughing so loud in the cinema and most of the jokes is slapstick so all of us could laugh at it. What ever you do, don't read professional reviews on this movie. I accidentally stumbled upon one so called professional movie critic and she said that the story make no sense because at one time Hancock was bulletproof but at another scene he got a gunshot wound. I bet the stupid bitch did not see the whole movie becausein the movie, they tell you when Hancock is most vulnerable. One grudge about this movie for me is that, there are some powers shown by the character in this movie that does not seem to be explained at all. Such as heat manipulation to make popcorn pops or the sudden weather changes. Other than that, I think this is the first Black Superhero on the big screen other than Storm from Xmen, if I am not mistaken. Plus the movie is not a direct ripoff from a comic or it could be from a comic or novel but not that popular yet. One thing I learned from this movie, everybody creates this shield so that we won't get hurt and show our emotions. We may act tough and seemed not care even though we are slowly dying inside or we may just pretend we are someone else just so that we could be happy. Sometimes the best way to love someone is to just let them go and let them be loved. I rate this movie 8/10. I hope for sequel because Will Smith makes a great hero. :D

T day

I thought today would be a great day because I actually woke up early after Subuh prayers. I managed to leave home before at 8am instead of my usual 8.30am. I thought the traffic light near the Sg Buluh Tol Plaza would be fixed, but alas, it was still broken and the line is still pretty long.

See how many cars are stuck on with me, oh well, I'll just sit in my air conditioned car with the stereo blasting.
Today was Test day, hence the title of today post, T day, of my immuno parasit class. It was an open exam concept, where you are allowed to go online and look into books to answer the question. Sounds easy right....not, I find this to be the hardest. Imagine having to look for information from 20 journals in 7 hours. I would still be stuck on 1 journal in 7 hours, because medical journals are quite difficult to read, especially when you had to open a dictionary or a text book after every 3 or 4 sentences. Some more after each sentences or paragraph they will tell you from what source they got that info from, so basically you still have to find that journal in order to really understand it. I was in over my head today, I was confident at the beginning with my skeleton of my answers, but I ended up not being able to use it because I felt not confident enough to answer it. It was terrible moment for me... because earlier my Prof already gave the answer to my lab tech at 8am... so I was late, I thought the test starts at 9am... hantuu tol.... so I got on his bad side.. maybe his curse caused me to be overconfident, thus causing me to not to take this test seriously. To make matter worse, I could not hand in the answers sheets to my prof hands, because it was last minute and he already left. So I just left it in his pigeon whole. I felt very very horrible at that time.

I was not happy and disappointed at my self. (but at least this supposedly sad photo of me, turns out to be quite nice, I just got a haircut and I shaved of all of that so called facial hair. Plus this pose hides my double chin :D, definitely a keeper..) OKAAAY back to my melancholic self.. anyways I was down and decided to chat with this one person I hold close to my heart. This the advice I got, I don't remember the exact word but this is what how interpreted it

So? Are you going to complain or are you going to do something about it? Do you want to get an A+ or you prefer a B,C or perhaps you want an E for your grade. You need to focus, comprehend and understand what you are going to do. Stop complaining and do something about it...
Ouch.... not so kind words from someone I really like but alas.. those words were true and is real. I mean complaining won't get me anywhere, so might as well learn from this mistake. I definitely felt a lot better :). Back home after having dinner and talking to my mother and brother. I decided might as well do a facial.
Its not that hard to do it, after I took my shower, I just wash my face with this scrub I got at Watson. Its cheap and it does its job well. It has tea tree oil so it can help with some of my pimples that seem to have erupted recently. My relatives told me, pimples on the face represents that you have some one special in your life...... well I rarely get pimples so might as well believe these old wives tales :p..

After rinsing the scrub off, and pat my face dry, I just take some is this purifying mud pack and just a minute amount of water and just apply it to my face. I let it dry as I write this blog. After drying just rinse off, apply some toner on, put some moisturizer on and voila... a facial...... It easy, its relaxing, its cheap and it gives you nice skin..Oh relaxing way to end and not so relaxing day...
